hi can any one help i got a system built then i upgraded it a little

i have a

intel i3 3.7 6100 skyline
2X8 GB 16GB DDR4 corsair 3000mhz
asrock H110m-DGS
GTX 1060 3GB
250 SSD
1 TB hard drive
windows 10 64 bit


i play a lot of RPG games i do like it on high i dont over clock but did try it and the score was worse than if i ran normal settings ? so i was thinking about upgrading my CPU or mother board or both ??

Whats crippling you is the CPU. Get a 6th gen non-K i5 from ebay. E.g. 6400, 6500 or 6600
1060 is a basic but decent card. If you want better graphics after the CPU upgrade sell it & get a 1070 or higher.
You dont need a new motherboard.

would it be better to get a duel core or a quad core ?

quad. (you have dual at moment) hence the recommendation of the i5 6th gen which will fit your mobo no problemo.
