Hi i want to build a decent gaming pc, nothing over the top just a rig that can handle new and soon to be released games at medium to high settings. I would like to spend under £1000 purely on hardware If you could recommend a monitor for under £200 that would be great thanks

1080p / 60Hz, IPS panel; which a 1070 will handle any title at.

If you want to play titles like CS:GO etc, then a higher refresh rate panel (albeit TN) would probably be the way to go.... something like this:
