Question Gaming PC build

So...i read everywhere how easy it was to put together a PC. I have pretty much no experience but went for it anyway and tried to build my own gaming PC. Complete and utter failure. I'm definitely an idiot and probably did something amazingly stupid because when I plugged it in absolutely nothing turned on...no fans or anything. Anyone have any ideas as to why this was such a fail other than I'm an idiot?

I would of grabbed a better PSU but it should be ok for that system (when you get a better GPU though the PSU needs to be replaced).

Looking at the part list I don't see any issues and the build itself, while messy looks like things are connected correctly but what your going to need to do is thoroughly go through this checklist and see what you overlooked.

Although you may of forgot to turn the PSU switch on.

Well it makes me feel a little better than nothing is horrendously obviously wrong. I've checked just about everything I can and still nothing. Pulled everything out and put it back in.. Did the paperclip test with the power supply and it worked. I even went in to make sure I had the cpu facing the right direction but nothing. I guess I'm gonna have to have a friend look at it for me. But I really do appreciate all the help from you guys ! Thanks
