Hi guys,

I have someone who is going to build my pc for me but they would like me to buy the parts so can you guys give me the best list of parts for a gaming pc please, my price limit is £550 this would need to include everything to get a pc up and running and to get the best graphics/performance while gaming !

what sort of games could the above specs run and at what graphics settings ? can anyone else come up with a good gaming pc build for me as i dont really have a clue about parts ! so please help guys

i would atleast like to be able to run most games on high settings is there any way possible within my budget and with my resoluion to do that ? and do i not need a cpu cooler or sound card ?

Do you plan on upgrading your monitor?

If so, then my build would prove to be useful. With my build at your resolution, you shouldn't have any problem at playing on ultra settings at a comfortable fps.

Here's a youtube video benchmarking the hd 6870 @1360x768.

In games like Crysis, he's frequently dipping in the 30 fps range. You can watch the rest of the vid for yourself. I don't have the time at the moment.
