I just built up a computer for my girlfriend. We put in a asus dual 1060 oc card, ryzen 1800x with 16 gigs of corsair RGB ram, and AIO and an on sale g3 PSU. SSD for hard drive.
It was between 1200 and 1400. There are a lot of sales going on right now... tons of good power supplies. What games are you playin? Ultra isn't too hard to do... so long as your not doing a super high resolution. 1060s handles games at 1080p quite well.

First tell us if you need a monitor. If you already have one, what resolution and refresh rate? Cuz a gtx 1080 for a 1080p 60hz is just wasting money.

Budget is just for the pc? Have any plans to upgrade ur gaming experience to 1080p 144hz or 2k 75hz?

Buying any kind of GPU right now would be a waste of money, seeing as Nvidia will announce the next generation cards on August 20th.

If you really can't wait with the build, I suggest getting a cheap second hand 1050TI until the new generation comes out, and then get a next gen card.
