Hello Guys! How are you all doing? Hope you're well.

Here's the deal, I kind of want to get back into Gaming as I haven't had much time over the last 7 Months (Got Married and the Missus doesn't like it... But now she's overseas visiting her Parents for a couple of months!) and I want to upgrade some of my Components but I'm not the best with knowing what to go with. I've had my PC for about 6 years and some of the Components date back to then.

My Specs are:

Motherboard: Asus Sabretooth P67
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 980 (Zotac)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @3.40GHZ
RAM: 8GB Ram (7.98 Usable)
Nvidia High Definition Audio
Running on Windows 10 64-Bit

I'm namely looking at my Processor and Motherboard (Do recommend anything else if you think appropriate) and my current Budget is about 4500-5000 EGP (Roughly 450-500 Dollars). For the Processor I was recommended the I5 6600 (Skylake) which is currently at about 2750EGP (275 Dollars) here in my country. What takes priority? How should I split it up? Any thoughts, views and recommendations are appreciated!

Best Regards & Warm Greetings from Egypt

Your 980 matches a 1060/480 basically, and an over clocked 2600k beats or ties a 6500/6600 non k in everything. I might would get 16gb of memory, a z77/z67 (either will work for you) motherboard and a good cooler. Other than a $1200 rebuild theres nothing else to do that will improve your performance maybe add a ssd for a boot drive?
