Question Gaming PC experiencing micro stutters then crash.

I'm using a old yet still pretty powerful rig, 980ti, i7 6700k... For quite sometime now I've been experiencing micro stutters when I first boot up and get into windows. These stutters prevent me from really doing another on the PC as there is soon a complete freeze/crash. I can provide for details but all drivers are up to date, I'm thinking it might be a RAM issue. Any help you be appreciated.

full system spec? include make and model of the psu
check cpu/gpu temp?
