So, I am about to get a new gaming pc yet I have a budget of 500, I've never had a gaming pc only shitty laptops that I could play League on pretty well, I don't know how to build my own pc yet I'm sure I could accomplish it if NEEDED though I would rather have a prebuilt one if there are any and I would also like a quad core since I think that is the best I don't know anything about specs though, but I also will be needing a monitor so if that could be included for only 500 dollars that would be nice, but if not it's fine I just really wanna conquer some graphic heavy games for once in my life.

Solution
if you need a monitor and an OS, $500 will not do it.

not including windows 8($90), a 1080p monitor($110-130), or a keyboard/mouse($20-30), this is about as low as you want to go for the actual computer.

you should save your money and built it yourself. its not that hard, and you will learn fun things in the process all while getting the most out of your dollar.

if you are going to build yourself, you should at least buy that xfx 550w power supply for $25 after rebate since its one of the best quality budget power supplies and its about half the normal price.

A $500 prebuilt PC won't be much better than a console believe me

Better than nothing I suppose.

No, a console is better. You will have the same graphics (Even worse in some cases), same/less frame rate, cheap, unreliable motherboard/PSU, and an extremely small upgrade path.

OP I'll say it again. Save at least $800 for a gaming PC to be satisfied
