I've been looking to build a PC for a few months now but the GPU's have been a ridiculous price and now i'm ready to finally go through with this.
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fnnhcc
This is the first PC I have designed
I was wondering if anyone could verify or maybe make some improvements.
I'd prefer intel cpu's and Nvidia GPU'S
Thanks in advance

*Monitor fixed
*PSU changed
*GPU changed

I think a 250gb ssd would be more beneficial as you can then store a few games on it, something like this:

Sandisk SSD Plus 240gb
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/8jH48d/sandisk-ssd-plus-240gb-25-solid-state-drive-sdssda-240g-g26

You could also potentially go down to 1tb hdd, but it's your choice. Either 1 or 2 is good.

The major issue here is that psu, 80 plus white and certainly not the best quality.

Something like this would be good (Very reliable, far better than the 80 plus white one):

Corsair RM550X
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/3zNypg/corsair-power-supply-cp9020090na

Other than that, doesn't seem much wrong with it.

Also, that is for 1080p, the gtx 1060 6gb might be able to do 4k low, and you included a 1080p monitor for a '4k gaming' setup? Makes no sense.

gtx 1070 can handle 4k ultra on e sports titles, but will fall short of 60fps on AAA titles. 30fps is definitely possible on most titles at 4k ultra. You can just turn it down to high/medium if you want 60.
