Hello,

Im about to build my first pc ever.
I've been researching for some days now and I guess I need a real help . I was wondering if you could please help me with list of components.

it has to be gaming pc for streaming/gaming
I would like to stream/run 1080p
fps, AAA titles, battle royales games... (I dont need high ultra settings)
CPU; ryzen 5 3600; ryzen 5 3600x; ryzen 7 3700x; i5 9600k; i5 9600kf I was thinking about those?
GPU; GeForce RTX 2070; RTX 2060; RTX 2060S, RX 5700 xt here I have no idea... there is plenty of models from XXX to XXX€ I dont see difference and there
may be difference in what, brand/logo? (for example RTX 2060 for 400€ and other RTX 2060 600€.. what I see in difference is brand)
i have OS<- we can save money here

now, what is the best combination?
I heard nvidia is better for streaming but it is also i lot expensive in my country.
my budget is 1000-1500€,
im looking for best price/power option, i dont preffer any brand, any lights... I want best optimization

Im also need help with choosing correct monitor (200-300€) which is able to run this PC and this PC can run the monitor...
144hz/240hz?

for every help I would be grateful,

thanks

Solution
Then go for the RTX 2060s if you can get it where you are.... DO NOT GET A THICC GPU of any kind, cooling is awful and will thermal throttle, the worst poo out there !!! :)

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE 8G is a fine card and will be sure to serve you well.

I would just be sure where those 3 fans are in the case, 1 MUST be exhaust at the back or you will get heat issues.
The RTX cards do prduce lots of heat so good airflow is a very important.
AOC have good monitors at reasonable prices I'm in Germany so the prices may be slightly different but you can get a nice 144hrz 27' for around 200€. The others are just aroud the price and not approximate.

CPU - 3600x-210€
Mobo - MSI B450 Tomahawk - 115€
GPU - MSI RTX 2060s - 400€
RAM - 16 GB G-Skill Trident 3600 - 115€
SSD 1 Tb 100-130€
Cooling- Wraith cooler that comes with it or the Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B. 45€
PSU - Corsair RM550x - 90€
Case - Up to what you like but budget for 100€
A few decent fans another 50€

And your in for around 1.400€ including the monitor. This is just to give you ideas, some MoBo's are cheaper but don't go for a cheap PSU as it is the foundation of everything. Yes there are plenty on the market for 35€ but they will kill your PC. Just search around this forum for tales of woe!!!

Hello, thanks for help!

I have to pick up
ryzen 5 3600- 188€ in my country (its cheaper 40€ than 3600x)
SSD- GIGABYTE AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD 500GB - 133€
(i havent found nothing decent 1TB in my country)
case-Corsair 275R Tempered Glass 66€
everything else is the same as u recommended
question 1)what you mean please by few decent fans 50€?
question 2) is it okay if I've choosen ryzen 5 3600, is it good with other components, will it be enough for this 3600MHz ram?
(the ram is 140€ in my country, maybe I can change it for sth cheaper)
question 3) there is no MSI RTX 2060s - 400€ in my country
tbh there is no 2600s at all, cheapest one is for 500€

so I guess last part i need is GPU
I want nvidia rtx because of streaming but there is a lot of models and idont know which one is best...
ill list there some of them with price

GAINWARD GeForce RTX 2070 TwinX 8G - 378€ (best option probadly)
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6G - 360€
GIGABYTE Geforce RTX 2060 MINI ITX OC 6G - 362€
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 WINDFORCE OC 6G - 389€
MSI GeForce RTX 2060 VENTUS XS 6G OC - 401€

others are 450€+

now am on price 780€ without GPU

Your case is Corsair so good fans may come with it but I mean a good fan at the back as exhaust and maybe one on top to help cooling. There is a solid front version and an Airflow version of the Corsair 275R and I would go for the Airflow version (more open front) with an RTX card in, bad air flow will make your new card thermal throttle and lose preformance.

The GAINWARD GeForce RTX 2070 TwinX 8G is a good choice, they make solid cards. maybe not all the bells and whistles of some makers but good solid stuff.

By the way while most AOC monitors while not officially listed as G-Sync Compatible..... well they are so you may well be able to use G-Sync on your Freesync monitor !!! A little bonus :)

Hi, I have to reopen this.

I have huge problem the choosen GPU rtx 2070 isnt available in my country atm...
I also had to change SSD (it was gen 4, so Mobo doesnt support it)

question 1) what about ryzen 7 2700x ppl talking it is better for streaming
question 2) GPU... need help
question 3) still doesnt know what more fans I need to choose.
current list pcpartpicker list

I have a 2700x in my build and it is a really good cpu but ca.10% less single core speed than the 3600 for gaming. 3200 max speed RAM is better if you go for that.

If you want RGB fans that cool well then Corsair make good ones, for plain and very effective then Noctua fans are for you. These are case fans. Does the case come with fans pre-installed? You will need a few extra for good airflow but you can always get more fans later if you need to lower temps.

I am not sure what you CAN get in Slovakia but did you consider the AMD Radeon RX 5700 series as they are also fine for streaming, a 2060S would be stronger in this respect though. As for not having Raytracing.... well I have it and to be totally honest it is not such a big deal as they say. Lot's of times it makes very little difference and certainly not one that justifys the extra few hundred $.

currently I have SCYTHE Mugen 5 Rev. B, 3 fans in case,+ cooling at ryzen
(so 5 total I guess)
well, about ram... if 3600 isnt supported, I can get 3200 and save money:)

about rx 5700
there is
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra 8G 360€ (seen reviews and it is bad, no cooling at all)
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6G 360€

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G 396€
ASROCK Radeon RX 5700 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC 388€

cheapest 2600s is
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE 8G 462€

I dont care about raytracing,

I care about stream and the fact the rtx series have nvenc :(

yes, the thicc is bad, I see!

yes but the 2060s
the cheapest one is 462€ and it is 102€ more, it is even worth?
100€ is 100€)

the case 1 fan is at back 2fans are in front.

Well the difference is 6GB and 8GB, memory is what makes them expensive. But with what you want to do you will be fine with the 6gb card but if you budget allows then go for the 8gb.

The effect you will have depends on the games you play, in Fortnite or CSGO you will get good fps even in high settings, in a game like Mordor Shadow of War (which will eat any GPU's resources) you will be doing well to get 60-70 fps on medium settings. So it really is up to you and at what resolution, target fps that you want and how much "eye candy" you want to have.

The RX5700 is on some reviews given as the best GPU for price/performance on the market right now so you can't really go wrong on whichever choice you make. If streaming is the Nr.1 then I would go the RTX route, if my personal gaming quality at a reasonable price was foremost I would probably go for the AMD RX.

what about CPU encoding, streaming?

I can take the 5700xt
and add another 120€ and and take ryzen 7 3700x

and run the stream thru CPU encoding?
I was reading CPU is maybe better...

now I dont really know if itis better to grab better 3700x with 5700xt CPU encode
or stay with 5 3600 and rtx 2060 and run GPU encode
