Gaming pc freezes aftee bios update

I just got my ryzen 2700x today and i upgraded my bios to 4.30 with my previous cpu 1700x.But then i realized that im missing screws so i couldnt install the cpu today. 4.30 is for the new cpus pinnacle something. After i start a game my pc would freeze and make loud bizzing sounds . Im not sure whats going on. Its a asrock ab350m pro4 motherboard and i have a gtx 1070, so its on 4.30 and im using my ryzen 1700x .thanks for reading

You said a loud buzzing? That sounds like a beep code, can you get back to us on what that code is? It will be a series of short and long beeps, or is it a constant buzzing? Then it could be your PSU not capable of handling the higher power draw of the 2700x

Installing a new BIOS would increase CPU compatibility/stability and wouldn't remove the ability to run the 1700X, check gaming/load temps with AMD Ryzen Master.

Is it possible that when you put the 1700X back in you didn't install the cooler correctly?

Is it possible that when you put the 1700X back in you didn't install the cooler correctly?

I would try disconnecting and reconnecting all the cables and parts and make sure they were all plugged back in correctly.

That usually is the case when swapping parts, often times a cable or something will get knocked loose without you knowing or something wasn't put back in correctly.
