Gaming PC Graphic Issue

I built a PC and have been working dilligently on making my games work on it. I've pretty much discovered that my ultra-wide monitor has to be dropped in resolution for games since the majority do not come in, or don't really fancy 2560x1080. Now, FO4 is acting stupid. It loads, but with some major graphic errors where it doesn't even completely render in-game.

Build:
-Intel Core i7-4790K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I74790K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600
-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
-4 in total
-MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G
COUGAR DX600 600W ATX SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply Haswell ready
-ASUS Z97-E/USB3.1 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
-Western Digital Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
-2x 1TB & 1x 3TB

I must also mention, I transferred my program files and program files (x86) along with app data and program data, along with personal files from my old computer (which didn't use the ultra-wide screen). All of my games exist on the 3TB HDD since my SDD is only 256GB. I managed to get Borderlands, Fallout: New Vegas, and Skyrim to work, but haven't managed with FO4. Any suggestions?

Solution
update the bios of your motherboard
is it a fresh windows installation?

run some tests, like temperature with prime95 version 26.6 (small fft) + coretemp
furmark burnin
install memtest86+ to an empty usb drive and boot from it
run 3dmark basic edition (firestrike default settings) post the link which comes up at the end in your browser

I'm curious where you found the 2560x1080 option on the settings. The best I found was 1620x1050 I believe, and that's at 16:10. I reinstalled the game, but still have some serious issues with the graphics. Large swaths of the field of view aren't rendered and are just massive colorful blobs (angular blobs to be specific). I am going to disable all of the mods I moved over and test it then. I suppose it's possible that some mod files were corrupted in the move and have impacted the game.

As I have said in other threads, I can't actually help with Fallout. I spent probably 9-10 hours tryuing to get it to work, all to find that in large towns it is so badly coded that it can't use hardware properly, no matter what the settings.

As for the ultrawide, I think I downloaded the Fallout modtool and that allows forcing. Or you can force in the ini file :)

I think I can see one other problem. It would appear that the computer is running off of the HD Graphics 4600 rather than the GTX 970. This is my first homebuild, and it didn't register that I had to deactivate the integrated GPU. After doing that, it should be a beast.
