gaming PC help desperately needed

Hi, was given this forum's name by a lovely guy in Game today. He said that you lot could help.
My son is 17 and for his upcoming birthday he has asked for a gaming pc/laptop the problem is with this is firstly, i have only £300 spare, secondly I know nothing about the internal workings of a PC. Thirdly nor does my son.

He wants to be able to play Overwatch on the PC (he has an xbox one s but apparently he NEEDS to play it on a pc as well 😉 )
So after searching for weeks and coming a full circle. So this is my question.....
Is this suitable for what he needs? he might want to stream either now or at a later date?

I do not want to do overclocking (?????) we are not that techy minded unfortunately.....

An e8400 and gt 710 might open the game, but it will run like garbage. What do you already have? Because if you don't have anything yet, £300 would probably be best spent getting someone's used gaming rig off the local classifieds. Otherwise, this is about the best you'll be able to do if you buy new

We have nothing at all. He wanted a lap top originally but they are WAY out of my price range. So there would be very little point buying this do you think? TIA

I'm assuming by "this" you mean a laptop? You'll get far less performance per dollar with a laptop if that's what you're asking. In your case I'd look around on whatever your equivalent of craigslist is and see if you can find any good deals -or- buy the parts in the link I put in the previous message, put on the Newegg "How to build a PC" video from youtube, and make a father son day out of it. You can do it, it's not that hard. Anything you get for £300 new prebuilt isn't going to run overwatch adequately.
