Hello guys,
I'm looking to build a new gaming pc from scratch. I need a box, monitor and etc. It will be mainly used to play cs:go, so i need 16:9 monitor with decent refresh rate. I'm willing to spend about 500 euros. I need it to be able to run on low setting smoothly, so i wouldn't have any disadvantage againts opponents.
Currently i'm sitting with Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 and 2 gb of ram and it's quite hard to play, because it tends to just shut down while i'm playing😀
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide:)
Btw i think i could use some parts of my old computer like my video card(gts 250)

Solution
I don't hink that's going to happen for that budget when you also need a monitor. You would need to use that gts 250 and hope that's not the reason why it does shut down.
Do you also need windows? If so keep on saving and come back in time.Try to figure out why it shuts down, maybe all you need is a new psu when it's such an old system.

Without windows could you look at this,
