Inefficient CPU, suspect PSU, though the other stuff looks good. I never advise people to get an AMD 9xxx CPU. Just a bad idea. With that much money you can get an I5 or maybe even i7 system.

Bumping it up to 16GBs of 1866 ram, an r9 390, and an XFX 550W PSU it came to a similar $1220. If you are worried about the PSU, change the GPU to the 970. Still cheaper to build your own of course.
