Reason for upgrade: My current rig - x2 3800+, 9500 GT - can't handle the newer games like - GR: Future Soldier, Max Payne 3 ( Not even in 720x480 res )

Question: i3-2120+560GTX or i5-2500K+550GTX-Ti

My budget is very limited and I don't know which pair would be better. ( Can't afford both )
I mainly play games like Skyrim, TheWitcher2, Fallout NV, Batman AC, AC: Brotherhood, etc. ( I like open world games )
I almost always set the details to the lowest - shadow, shaders, lighting, etc - except for the texture details and draw distance.

In my case I feel that maybe the CPU is more important, but I'm not sure. ( Low res and detail, lots of objects )

Thanks,
Artoria

The 560 is a much better GPU, than the 550Ti. Having said that, at low res, the overclocking abilities of the i5 may compensate. I don't know, personally, what the overclocking abilities of your mobo are (check). What may be worth considering is that the prices of some of the upper mid Radeon cards have been tumbling, lately. You may be able to find something like a HD7850, at not much more than GTX560, and that would be a better choice.

The prices here are completely different - more expensive - that's why I didn't give a budget.
For example: i3=$175, 550ti=$160, i5=$320, 560=$230, HD7850=$290 ( the cheapest Sapphire )
The i5 is very expensive... so I'm not sure it's worth the price... and I can upgrade later if I want.
n the other hand the GPU is not that much more expensive...
