Approximate Purchase Date: Probably this week or the next.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Office, Videos
Parts Not Required: HDD, DVD-RW, OS
Country: Hungary/Europe
Parts Preferences: nVidia, Intel
Overclocking: No.
SLI or Crossfire: Neither.
Monitor Resolution: 1440x900, 1280x800
Additional Comments:
RAM: Kingston 4GB/1600MHz DDR-3 HyperX Blu ( Might upgrade later to 8 GB )
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 LGA1155 ATX
PSU: Hipro 580W, Pfc+, Eff: 80+
SSD: Kingston 60GB SATA3 2,5" (SVP200S3/60G) SSD ( for OS )
Reason for upgrade: My current rig - x2 3800+, 9500 GT - can't handle the newer games like - GR: Future Soldier, Max Payne 3 ( Not even in 720x480 res )
Question: i3-2120+560GTX or i5-2500K+550GTX-Ti
My budget is very limited and I don't know which pair would be better. ( Can't afford both )
I mainly play games like Skyrim, TheWitcher2, Fallout NV, Batman AC, AC: Brotherhood, etc. ( I like open world games )
I almost always set the details to the lowest - shadow, shaders, lighting, etc - except for the texture details and draw distance.
In my case I feel that maybe the CPU is more important, but I'm not sure. ( Low res and detail, lots of objects )
Thanks,
Artoria
