Question Gaming PC lagging still

I posted on here a while back as my son complains his PC is not good enough for gaming, we have been upgrading things but still can't handle some games.

I'm not a gamer myself so don't really know much, I will post the specs below and maybe someone can work out why it may be lagging?

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz
32GB RAM
Windows 10 64 Bit

what games, what specific problems within these games.
PC not being "good enough" is not usually the same type of problem as just having some "lagging" in specific games.
