gaming pc part help

Im looking to build my first pc just for gaming and i have a budget between $1500-$2000 and i would prefer to have the nzxt phantom 820 for a case and a very good graphics card so i can max out games

Here is my suggestion. With that, you will run everything smoothly, even at 1440p.

But why do you want a full-tower case like the Phantom 820 ? A mid-tower case have plenty of space for any configuration, even SLI. I went with my personal recommandation for the case, but you can replace it with the one you like. The prices are from Newegg.
