[SOLVED] Gaming PC Parts List?

Mods, if this is posted in the wrong area, I'm sorry. Seem liked the components section would be a good place.

I have finished ordering the last two item's needed for my gaming PC build. I believe that I have everything needed to finish my build. Does my list seem complete so that I can start building, or did I miss something?

Note: I haven't included Window's OS as I still need to purchase that.

Hey there,

Pretty solid build all-round. One thing though. You can get a Ryzen 5600x for less than the 3900x and it comes with an extra 20% in performance over Zen 2. If it's just for gaming, then I'd go with the 5600x.

Although a different GPU, results will be very similar in terms of the delta in FPS between the two.

Agreed, go with a 5600x if possible. But you'll have to verify the motherboard has the proper BIOS installed for the 5000 series. There is no flashback on the Asus x570 TUF.

Mine's been running a 3800x for almost two years now, it has been a rock solid PC since day one.

The 3900x is a good cpu but unless you need all those cores it's overkill for gaming. Will likely upgrade my 3800x in a year or so but was hoping for a 5700x.

Guys, thanks that's a relief. As stated in other threads, I haven't build a machine since the early 2000's. This is all new and I've spent hours upon hours researching specs, etc. Glad to hear that I did a solid job. I owe a lot of thanks to the PC gaming community as a whole for their help.

So with the CPU, I actually own all of these parts. I ordered the last two today, the air cooler and the RAM. I purchased the CPU back in 2020 for $429.99 USD. With tax it totaled $457.94.

Basically, I purchased parts off and on over the course of at least the last year. I probably should have waited until I saved up and just purchased everything at once to save money on shipping, but I'm happy with my total cost. All prices include shipping cost, taxes, etc.

My primary use for this PC is gaming and streaming on the same PC. I would also like to capture in game video with software on the same PC, just like I can do on my Xbox. I also plan on doing video editing.
