The screen goes black and the keyboard and mouse leds turn off and then it restarts as if it had just been turned on for the first time. It has even done this while it's booting before loging in. Doesn't matter what I'm running. I've turned it on and just left it there and it happens eventually. There's also days where it runs just fine and nothing happens.
Things I've tried:
Switching power outlets
Switching psu power cord
Ran crystal disk info
I unfortunately don't have another psu to test for that. It's also worth mentioning I recently updated my motherboard bios because I was having ram issues which were fixed, but I've been having this problem before doing that. I also recently upgraded my graphics card from an amd one but I tried it with that one and same deal.
My specs:
MB: asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
Cpu: amd fx 8350
Gpu: strix GeForce gtx 970
Ram: 8gb ddr3 gskill
Psu: 500w 80plus gold seasonic
(Edit) it shut down even while I was in the bios trying to configure settings. What could this possibly mean?
