These are my specs:
AMD Athlon x4 860k
2GB GeForce GTX 750ti
16GB DDR3
Over the past 48hours my PC has started acting really slow, perhaps I've been using it too long, I have been using it for casual stuff such as watching YouTube today, no gaming since around 8am so I decided to turn it off and let everything cool down for a while
Since this morning I have been getting an error pop up every 5 minutes reading "Windows Script Error" or something like that and the script is called Google Chrome in my App Data folder but I don't even have Chrome installed???
I generally use my PC for gaming, CSGO and Overwatch; usually I reach about 100fps on CSGO and ~75fps on Overwatch. Yesterday I was using a wall hacking script using a program called AutoHotKey on CSGO and it basically ruined everything, since then I have been dropping frames to around 20fps and now Overwatch won't even load up, it just displays a black screen whenever I try to do anything. I have uninstalled AutoHotKey today along with a bunch of other programs I don't use.
Please help, is my system just getting old and worn out? I got the PC in October of last year.
