Gaming pc question

Is this pc configuration good, planning to mildly over-clock it. Can you give me any suggestions on how to make it better? And is the cpu going to bottleneck the graphics card?

The build looks good, if you are planning to overclock I would go for a Z97 mobo. Also the 970 is a great GPU for the price and should hold very well.

for the same money you can buy the 4690k. Even if you plan to oc just a little bit its better to get that one.

Cpu will *not* bottleneck that even in SLI. I would recommend a 4770k if you can fit it in the budget. The hyperthreading will pay off down the road if you plan to keep the system for 4 or 5 years.

Doesn't that cpu only support 2 ram modules though?

Yes, that should be fine.

Just one more thing, I would split your ram into 2x4GB sticks to increase efficiency. It will work better in to compartments rather than the 1 stick

Yikes - you need 2x 4gb ram not 1x 8gb - it's dual channel ram chipset so want that for better performance.
