Gaming PC questions

Planning on buying a used gaming computer from a gentlemen off craigslist. It looks to be in awesome shape. Just wondering what I should look for inside the case in terms of assembly and on the system itself. Any help would be awesome!!

look for dust. loose fittings and swollen caps around the cpu, make sure the ram looks identical (not 2 or 3 different colours and heatsyncs).
other than that theres not a whole lot you can look for.
if hes up for it ask him to up a short vid with sound on youtube of it powering on and working.
listen for clicks and hums.
