So I normally just look through other cases and find solutions doing that, but I am having WAY too much trouble getting this fixed. Schematics bellow.
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 3.2GHz (4CPU)
Motherboard: ASUS HB1M-E (Newly Installed); ASUS H97M-E (Removed)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 (ASUS)
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 8GB (2x4gb)
Power Supply: CX450
OS: Window 10 home 64bit
So my motherboard died after uninstalling AVG Zen (Whole other story) and bought a new one to replace it as it was getting old anyway. After reinstalling windows and reinstalling all my drivers, I noticed my computer was running slow...like, really slow. As in it would take 7 seconds to open a window.
Curious, I opened a few games, that used to run well before the replacement, to find most were running below 90% (FPS) efficiency than they did before. For example, Subnatica used to run around 50 FPS on high but now on LOW it runs around 9 FPS average. Worse for Fallout 4 and the Witcher series.
It also seems that I can no longer do multiple task at the same time as if I start a download the PC's performance drops drastically. I cant even watch a youtube video while something on steam is downloading in the background and its not a network issue as my laptop does these things perfectly fine on the wireless while my PC has problems plugged directly in to the router, so I began to think it was a CPU problem.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! I'll answer any inquires as soon as I see them.
