Can you please make the best possible build? I need an OS, but no other accessories.
I have owned laptops in the past but I want to build a first time desktop for gaming and editing basic home video. Will also be used for study. Max budget $900 including Windows. Preferably $800 if possible.

Any responses help.

My monitor is 1080p. I am only buying an OS. I only need a base license of Windows 8.

Is it possible to have an i5 rather than i3?
I don't like EVGA power supplies. Preferably Corsair.
Are there not cheaper dimms that exist? I think 82$ for RAM might be a bit much.
And is H97 possible? I might be asking for too much from the build but Im just asking anyway.

-not for your budget GPU is way more important in gaming
-If you want the best quality in that price range, get the EVGA one
-Forgot to change the mthey are cheapest 2x 4gb but the motherboard i gave you have only 2 ram slots so get 1x 8gb (its not much cheaper) so you can upgrade later if you want
no its not possible unless you want to lose on preformance

I think I will choose the PC Case Gear one you have there because it has a better graphic card. Just a question, will the G3258 going to be enough for basic editing? And do you think the PCCG one will run Batman Arkham Knight? I preordered it so Im just asking.

For everyone who has recomend parts please try to get them all from one one place as shipping in Australia isn't cheap to get a few parts from 2-4 different places will cost around $100 if not more for standard shipping.
And for best parts go onto the main web pages. I prefer pccasegear as they have a wide range of parts and decent shipping

Just add in your OS

The Pentium CPU isn't ideal…. But you can over clock it pretty easily to high 3 low 4 GHz without much fuss. With a gaming PC you really want to be sinking as much of your budget into the GPU as possible.

To save you shipping from all over the place you'll be able to grab these parts from your local MSY for close to those prices.

Their website aint pretty, but they have all they good stuff at a reasonable price, and cheaper when you factor in all your shipping costs. I just call my local check for stock availability and away you go!

Just asking, can I overclock on an H97 board? Because if I had the pentium I would definitely overclock it.

To all,

Would streching my budget to $1000 AUD help? If it is worth the extra $100-200, I will see if I can increase my budget. And can you also give me some specs for what i can buy at that price?
