So my gaming pc that I just built won't work on my tv. I've tried everything from removing the gpu and just using the mb to picking up a dvi to HDMI adapter to see if that was the issue, but still no luck. I don't have an os yet and my parts are: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz 8-Core Processor, MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard, and EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Video Card. The monitor hasnt come in yet but I thought I'd be able to test it through my tv and came to a few hurdles. Also another issue with it is that my power led doesn't show up although it's plugged in correctly, also on a worse note it wont power off through the case's power button.

Solution
i would take it all apart and put it back together you may not have everything put together correctly.
i'd also try it with only one stick of ram (I'm assuming you have 2 or more).

also fyi the ryzen doesn't have onboard graphics so you have to go through the gpu. also try different hdmi ports on the tv.
