First off, is this a good enough gaming build to play stuff like sc2, wow, gw2, d3, skyrim, maybe some other games on high settings?
Second, clearly there is no motherboard- could someone please find me a good one (thats affordable) preferably on newegg? im not sure what to look for in a mobo since this is my first build

You could always go with an i3 or a 965 BE. They will be close in performance and not break the bank. Make sure to buy a PSU only from a reliable company such as Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic. A 7850 will run the games you mentioned at high settings no problem.

Also, I was thinking of getting an i3 or something since I could always upgrade to i5/i7 in the future, is that a better idea than amd CPUs?
