Power supplies cannot be cheaped out on therefor setting a low budget is not a good idea. Certainly at 50 dollars or lower you won't find a quality one.

The XFX 550w however is a good unit at 59 dollars.

I do not recommend the EVGA 500B or 600B.

agree with other suggestions but rais your budget to $60-70 to get something decent.

this is good if you want to stay under $50, its 450w though. What are you trying to power with it?

Yes if you value the rest if your hardware invest in a solid PSU. Likely it will outlast the rest of your components.

As an example, mine is bit over 8 years old. The next-oldest component in my system is about 5-6 years old.
