Hi, I was wondering is 80Hz(12.5ms) is sufficient for gaming? (CRT)
I know there are other monitors that sport a much higher refresh rate, though I am more interested in This one due to its spectacular resolution/price (2048x1536@80Hz full resolution for around $400 average price) Pixel pitch also looks good at 0.2mm. Is this a good monitor for gaming? Or should I focus more on Refresh rate than on resolution, or is this a good balance of both?

-Edit- Also, I notice it only supports D-sub. Is the only benefit of DVI to better bandwidth for higher possible refresh rates? Should this concern me?

Higher refresh rates are primarily intended to avoid flicker. I think you'll be fine at that rate... 60Hz is very annoying to some (me, included)... 72 works well, and beyond that it's usually just fluff.
