Hey Everyone, my friend asked me to put together and build him a nice budget gaming rig for ~ $850-950.I want to make it a nice and efficient gaming rig so he wont have any regrets later.Something that will play WoW,Diablo III,Crysis, COD:Black Ops, ect. on max graphic settings.

Budget Range:$850-950

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming/music/movies

Parts Not Required: Monitor, mouse, mouse pad, speakers, keyboard,OS,Optical drive

Country of Origin: I know this might be a first but...Russia

Parts Preferences: Intel and NVidia GPU

Overclocking:no

SLI or Crossfire:maybe in the near future

Monitor Resolution:1280x1024

Additional Comments:He wants me to build him a gaming rig with EVGA GTX 580 and Sunbeam Transformer IC-TR-US-BA-WOPSU Black Steel ATX Full Tower.Beside those i need every other part for the rig:power supply,CPU,CPU Cooler,HDD,motherboard and Ram.Thanks in advance for everyone who helps out.

So far i got:

GPU:EVGA GTX 580

Case:Sunbeam Transformer IC-TR-US-BA-WOPSU Black Steel ATX Full Tower

First of all, with that resolution, the 580 is way overkill. I hope your friend knows that.

Second, is the GTX 580 and case included in the budget listed? If so amend the budget so we know what we have left to work with since we don' t know exactly how much you paid for them. Also, is that budget in US Dollars?

I would recommend grabbing the new i5-2500k in a couple of days. that will be around $220 US

P67 motherboard for around $150

8GB Ram ~ $100

PSU, 750 - 850W from Corsair, Antec, or Seasonic ~$110-150

HDD 1TB from Western digital, Seagate, Samsung ~$65

Use what is left in the budget to grab a 23-24" 1080p monitor ~ $170-200
That way he can actually use the card he wants.
