Codetrix :
I want to build my first gaming rig.
My Budget is $2k
I want to play hot titles like Battlefield 3,tomb raider 2013, Batman arkham city and the upcoming titles battlefield 4, batman origin, fifa 14.. I guess you got the Idea here.
So far I collected this rig config
-Cooler Master HAF XM
-GTX 680
-i7 4770k
-MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard
I want to play all games at highest settings and fps possible in my budget.
And if theres even cool looking PC Cabinet out there then suggestions are welcome!
You certainly don't need $2k to play those games, but if you want to go the big-budget route, set aside $300-350 of that money and use it for a 1440p IPS/PLS panel.
Unless you already bought that 680... I hope you have not. It's not really a good choice anymore, especially not for a rig of the caliber you're looking to build.
Your best bet is to wait a couple more weeks for AMD to release its 9000-series cards, see how they are priced and what kind of comparative performance it offers. I'm not opposed to NVIDIA whatsoever, but I am opposed to using a previous generation, out of production card that costs more (if buying new) than current cards that out-perform it -- for example, a $280 Radeon 7970. And the GTX 770 would perform even better.
Here's a build (without monitor) that comes in just over $1600

I stuck with the case you chose because that's largely an aesthetic preference. The 4770k was an unnecessary CPU because you will see zero difference in gaming performance between that and a 4670k. Also, the GD65 is a good board, but the ASrock is $40 cheaper and is pretty much identical in features. They also appear to have the same power phase design. The GD65 may give you better overclocking performance, but unless you're going for a high-performance cooling solution, you will never see an ounce of difference. The Haswell CPUs run hot. I use custom water cooling and still had to delid mine to get safe temperatures at 4.7GHz. Unless you plan on going that route, pretty much any mid-range Z87 motherboard will be the same for you.
Some people might question my choice of a 780 (would be significantly better than a 680, by the way). Honestly, it's probably not the best choice considering AMD's 9000s series are nearly here, and NVIDIA's 800 series will be here the first part of next year. That configuration is simply what I'd build if I was forced to order parts today.
And as I said, when you're gaming with this kind of budget, it only makes sense to go with a resolution higher than 1080p. Had you previously considered a 1440p IPS or PLS panel?
