$765 before MIR/ $735 after MIR should be free shipping on all of them.

This is well under your $800 budget. A good suggestion is to sell your older monitors and purchase a newer 1920x1080. I won't go for 1920x1200 unless you go for 24" monitor but that will costs a lot. I think you can find good 20-23" monitors for $100-160. The 6870 will run everything at the highest setting at your current resolutions with no problem. I tried sticking to your preferences as closely as possible. I chose a AMD quad core along with Asus motherboard , fast 1TB hard drive, good cable management with side window, etc. The AM3+ is for future upgrade to Bulldozer which will probably run best on 1866Mhz RAM. You have low resolution monitor so spending any more than $120 will actually be overkill but I'm expecting you to upgrade soon anyway so whatever. If you can afford it, go the distance and buy a 6950 for around $250 and then flash it to a 6970 without spending any extra. I just got home and edited this and added the missing stuff.

p.s

some of the games i am planning on playing is

Battlefield series
Dirt 3
Dirt 2
Fallout series
Star Wars the old republic
The Sims 3
etc.

i kind of think that graphics card is a little bit of an overkill for me maybe a 6850 or a 560ti?

any benefits from using amd or intel edited it for both also thinking a bout a coolermaster/ raidmax/ NZXT case

also thinking about staying with a stock cpu fan

This is a build I edited a little for you ^_^

Its a red/black themed pc (minus the sabertooth's yellow) that is bulldozer ready so whenever that cpu comes out you have the option of putting it in your pc.

thanks but case has no window and graphics card is a little bit overkill and i guess i forgot to mention at the top i was kind of going with a blue black theme, if you could modify some of the parts that would be great

Bulldozer comes out in September.

So if you plan on waiting till then, you should just wait till a few reviews come out about them first to see which one you want.

TBH you could go with the 955 and use that for the next 2 years or however long it takes till you feel the BD cpu has gotten cheaper or you read enough reviews.

GL with the build, im off to get high.

Thanks for your help

Thanks p07, it appears we both left out the OS. As for the OS, you can cut money off the RAM. We don't have any detailed information about Bulldozer yet. I did read that llano has better performance with 1866MHz better than 1600MHz. You can drop down to 4GB 1600MHz for now and buy the OS, and then add on another 4GB 1600MHz when you feel like it. They should be around $35-40 for 2x2GB.

I fixed it. The link is to a Phenom II x4 955 but the name was the same as the motherboard. Sorry about that. You're free to switch away my case and drop down to cheaper RAM. 1866 should be the amount you want though. It will bring the OS into better affordability. Hope this settles everything :)

Glad we are able to help you. I finally achieved my first badge :D
