Is this decent for gaming can I run crisis 3 farcry at high
One more question do I need a special case or can I just add a extra fan

Depends on your resolution. Quality-wise, Crysis 3 will not likely to be above medium quality at 1280x800 or more.

Crysis and FC 3 don't like dual core CPUs so if you can't afford an i5 get an AMD FX 6300 or 6350. Or even better a Phenom x4 + cooler for overclock and a 7850/7870/GTX660.
