Hello all, I would like some advice on the matter of LCD monitors. I'm trying to build a gaming rig and want to have a double monitor display (in the future I also plan to upgrade it to a triple monitor display), and am planning to use the Samsung S24B350HL 23.6-inch 1080p Monitor (around $214). Is this a good monitor choice? If there are better monitors in the ~$250 or less price range, could you recommend them?

Before buying the two monitors you need to be aware of gaming with two , if you play FPS games when you aim down the sight your gun sight will be in the middle of the two screens , in the bezel , and make it hard to aim. If your getting three eventually then you may want to consider one now and add two later or go for the three right off the bat.
The first monitor on the list is a Dell and it's almost boarderless which will make it great for a multi screen set up.

Yeah, I've been revising my current rig plan a lot recently and I've decided to start off with one monitor to help compensate for some costs, and upgrade to a triple display later on. With that in mind, would you say that the Dell is the best of the four in image quality?

In image quality yes and if I were planning on a triple monitor one of my concerns would be the bezel width and the smaller the better. I would prefer a triple sized screen that is one screen and has no bezel at all. I think that Alienware was experimenting with a screen like that and I', hopeing they fialize it and come out with it.

Although I assume such a screen would cost a small fortune. I know Samsung made a triple display and it costs almost 2k, which is wayyyy out of my price range, haha.

As for the Alienware screen, I looked it up, and if you are talking about the 2008 one it seems that it came out sometime in 2009...for about $9000 😛 Although it doesn't seem to support 1080p res (only 900p), so I would have passed it up anyhow.
