Hey All,
thank you so much in advance.

I'm flexible on options, could be pre-built or not.
Any brand is fine.

What I want to avoid:
RGB, all the bells and whistle of the gamer look.

What I'm aiming for:
Maximum longevity within the budget.
VR-Ready is very welcome.
Doing Digital design such as user interface and illustration. Not much video-editing.

To consider:
1440p is a nice compromise for me, don't really need 4k.
As mentioned above: the cleaner the case, monitor and peripherals, the better.

Budget:
Around €1500 - DKK 11205

FYI

I'm based in Denmark but can comfortably buy from Italy or the rest of Europe.
Just so you won't link any US-based offer :)
Thanks again!

This is just a suggestion, but you have a good budget for a strong build.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor (2932.61kr @ Newegg Denmark)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard (2000.00kr @ Newegg Denmark)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (1719.00kr @ CDON DK)
Storage: Western Digital Blue 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (1034.00kr @ Alternate)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card (4310.00kr @ Alternate)
Case: Fractal Design Define S ATX Mid Tower Case (828.00kr @ CDON DK)
Power Supply:...
So with Regards the RGB, that fairly easy to avoid to a point. Anymore most motherboards and graphics cards do have some RGB on them, but it can easily be disabled.

Without knowing where in Europe you are its hard to price a build. You can use https://pcpartpicker.com/ and select your country or a country you can easily buy from to get the best prices but I will give you a setup I would recommend.

CPU: Ryzen 3600 or 3700X if your budget still allows
MOBO: MSI Tomahawk B450 MAX
RAM: I would recommend at least 16GB of 3200mhz or faster DDR4 in dual channel, so for 16GB the kind sold as two 8GB sticks. A good non RGB budget brand would be G.Skill RIPJAW
GPU: RTX 2060 Super, RX 5700 or 5700XT (if your budget still allows)
PSU: Corsair TXm, RM or Seasonic FOCUS. I would recommend a 550-650 watt for this system

Thank you for replying so quickly, at first glance your suggestion sounds really good. I'll look into it and see what's logistically available in my area.

I'm also updating the post so it's clear where in Europe I am

If you want to provide a budget in € (or your local currency) and your country in Europe, people can always suggest partpicker specs.

Yesss, just made the edit.
I somehow thought It'll be easier for you guys to come up with suggestions and then I'll worry about finding the pieces.

But having the suggestions already localized sounds sweet

If you just go with a non-windowed case you like - the look of the internal components won't matter because you won't see them anyway. Some nice clean non-windowed cases to look at in this budget range:

Corsair 400Q
Fractal Design Define Mini C
Fractal Design Define C
Fractal Design Node 202
Raijintek Styx
Silverstone FTZ01

This is just a suggestion, but you have a good budget for a strong build.

Assuming yes, I took at run at this.

Using Partpicker for Denmark gives you a choice of only about 2 stores, one of which is Alternate which is German but ships around the EU.

So I did a list based on Germany's partpicker as I imagine most places will ship to Denmark? Checking quickly and Amazon.de does free shipping to Denmark. Apparently.

Still leaves room ni the budget for peripherals, maybe upping the GPU to an RX 5700 XT too, or a Windows licence if you need that.
