Hey all,
Im looking to purchase a gaming / Solidworks laptop. Looking to spend no more than $2000. Looking for suggestions.
Thanks!

Do you have any preference on screen size, storage options or display resolution?

I'd probably assume, given the budget, that you're wanting a 17" display, SSD storage, i7 CPU, 1080p display and 8 or 16GB of RAM. Sound about right or are you looking for something more easily portable with a smaller 14 or 15" display?

Right now, the best deal is on the Lenovo Y70-70 Touch - 80DU000HUS which is currently 1399.00 through Lenovo, 1700.00+ elsewhere on the web, but this is a special currently going on and I'd jump on it if you're in the market RIGHT NOW.

It has i7-4710HQ, 17.3" touchscreen, GTX 860M discreet graphics, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Wireless AC, Bluetooth, Windows 8.1 (And most likely, according to current information, eligible for free upgrade to Windows 10 when it's released) and is unlikely to matched by any other unit currently available at that price. Plus, the quality and customer service of Lenovo are outstanding.
