I’m building a gaming computer that’ll run at 1080p at around 100+ FPS. Im interesting in streaming and editing as well but I’m not looking to build a super rig.

This is my current build Rn ^

I’m planning on getting a gtx 1070ti or a 1080, just depends on what deals I find.
For the cpu I’m think the i7 8700 because of the 6 cores and 12 threading which I think will run fine

The motherboard is the issue I’m having, I currently have picked the Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. There a lot of mother boards out there with a bunch of bells and whistles and I’m just not sure which one is right for me.

This is my first PC build and I would like to do it right, which means I’m not just gonna jump in and start buying stuff right away. If my build has a lot of bad choices please let me know why and what you would recommend as a fix

Lastly I have a 750w power supply, is that too much with what I’m running? Is having too much power bad?

Thank you

Get Ryzen 7 2700x with 32 GB of RAM. And you don't need to think about anything.
Because Ryzen 7 2700x has true 8 core and 16 threads that makes it. All rounder in gaming, editing and streaming. And have equilent performance of i7 8700k. At little cheap.

For motherboard get Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming K5...
