It will stream CS:GO at 1080p 60+ fps no worries.

Solution
Well, I recommend the r9 280 cause it has 3 GB of Vram and has a bigger memory interface (384-bit) compared to the similarly priced gtx 960, which only has 2 GB of Vram and 128-bit memory bus. Yes, the 960 has a 4GB version but the memory interface kinda bottlenecks it, so basically, the gtx 960 4GB version bottlenecks itself, lol.

You would get more than 60 FPS all the time, it doesnt really matter getting 90, 120, 160, only if you have like a 144Hz or 120Hz monitor. But always cap the FPS to the monitor refresh rate so that you dont stress the GPU unnecessarily.

Haha thank you do you think I should get the i5 4690k and the 280x or is it pointless?

Well, you could change for the r9 380 which is the same as the 280x, with a little less power consumption, and your total price would only be 20 pounds higher:

The 4690k isn't really needed since you're not into some heavy gaming.

Wouldn't I need a wired network card for Ethernet connection and if so could you recommend one please?

For a wired connection you dont need an extra card, the motherboard already has one integrated.
