I am just wondering what my PC requirement should be to produce a viewable whilst playable stream on Twitch? Currently I can stream H1Z1 but it's a bit pixelated and I lag a bit in game (doesn't make it unplayable but it's kind of annoying). I don't really want a second PC if I can help it, but am almost certain I'd need to upgrade my GPU and RAM.

PC specs:

i5 4690k

GTX 650Ti BOOST 2gb (Possible upgrade)

8gb RAM (Possible upgrade to 16gb)

1tb HDD

120gb SSD

My internet connection has been good enough to stream in the past, so that shouldn't be a problem sitting at just over 7mbps.

Please could you let me know if/what I'd need to upgrade to make a single PC stream and any recommendations you may have!? Thanks :)

If you have a low budget for £85 or $92 or so, got for a 750TI OC edition if you want a high budget that will last you a long time and do almost everything go for something from a GTX 1060 MSI, or a RX 480 red devil, both are as good as each other the looks are up to you, the CPU is great that will not need a upgrade soon, the ram is fine maybe you're next upgrade and everything else seems good

Okay, thank you for the reply! So it looks like I'll be upgrading both RAM and GPU. GPU to make the game run nicely and RAM because I'd need to run lots of programs/tabs at once and even going between Chrome tabs lags sometimes. I'd probably look at getting either a GTX 980 or a GTX 1060 as you say.

Could I get your advice on RAM, too? I am currently using 8gb 1333MHz Crucial Ballistix RAM. Would you see there being a benefit in upgrading to 16gb of 1866MHz RAM from HyperX, which will of course cost me more as I need to buy the full 16gb? It's either that to get better speeds and also better aesthetics, or buying another 8gb of the slower Crucial Ballistix RAM.

Thanks :)

Unfortunately, I don't think that'd work as it's DDR4 RAM, I think I have to use DDR3 with my motherboard because I have a 4690k...
