Question Gaming/Streaming/Video Editing PC on a budget?

My ancient Lenovo Y70 is on its last legs and technology has changed a lot. I don't have much to spend, and am even open to used hardware if it helps with hardware longevity in the form of upgrading it over time.

What specs are most important to consider for this kind of build? What hardware would you go with to maximize a $1200 budget with the goal of longevity in mind?
