Hey guys,
I'm looking for buying a new desktop this week, maybe even tomorrow since it's presidents day.
So here we go:

Approximate Purchase Date: Within a week

Budget Range: 1500$-1700$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming mainly, Programming (eclipse most of the time)

Parts Not Required: keyboard

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, fry's, Amazon

Country of Origin: USA: CA

Parts Preferences: I thought about i7 2600K but I'm not sure if it's possible in 1500$ including a monitor 24'-27' inch, Maybe an extra SSD drive for the operating system.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Must be supported.

Monitor Resolution: If I'm getting 24'-27' monitor I guess it would 1920x1200

It's in the process of being fixed. Replacement chipset is being manufactured and shipped to the MB MFGRs and the replacement boards are expected to be out in late March / early April timeframe.
As far as I now there are no P67 boards available for sale from the major vendors like NewEgg, etc.

what do you mean? just pass the motherboard for now and buy all the other hardware until intel will fix the problem?
I think the prices might go down and if I don't have a motherboard I can't really do anything with all the other hardware
