gaming system requirements

I want to know whether my pc can play top games like far cry 4 cod advanced warfare and upcoming games like this atleast for 4 years....our will i7 4700k will get outdated by that time
my system
i7 4700k
8gb coresair
asus h97 pro gamer
gpu-geforce gt 740 2gb ddr3(is this gpu bad or neeed to be upgraded?)
suggestions plzzz....

i7 4770K? there is no such thing as a 4700K.

Your system needs a SERIOUS upgrade in the GPU, there is no way that gpu is going to even push high settings on any of those games.

If you want a system that will last for a little while, then get a Geforce GTX 970 or GTX 980 if budget is not an issue.

BTW... I doubt your system will last 4 years without upgrades to the GPU if you want to play all those games on high settings. We don't know what games are going to be like in 4 years.

Adding to TechyinAZ, you may need a new PSU. What PSU do you have (Make and Model)?

Its not a given when it comes to gaming on hardware maybe 2 years after the suggested upgrades are made but none of us know what games are going to be like in 4 years from now.
