Hello,

I have about a $1000 budget.
My main use for this will be to trade stocks on dual monitors. But I know I will eventually game on it. I want something that can handle games if I decide to go that route.

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next months.

Budget Range: Around $1000.

System Usage: Trading stocks on dual monitors and Gaming.

Why Are You Upgrading: Need a personal computer with capability for hardcore gaming without spending all my money.

What games do you play: BF3, Crysis 2, CIV V, Diablo, Starcraft 2, and Warcraft.

Are you buying a monitor: No, I have a 1920x1020 monitor. HP 23' LED monitor.

Parts to Upgrade: I need everything besides monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Do you need to buy OS: No.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No specific website required.

Location: Michigan, United States.

Parts Preferences: Open to suggestions.

Overclocking: No

Additional Comments: This is my first computer build, so any advice will be greatly appreciated! I don't need more than 1TB Hard drive.
Would prefer to do a small SSD hard drive supplemented by a 500GB 7200rpm HD. Thoughts?

RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 MHz C9 DDR3 @ $39.99 from Newegg

HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.D 1TB 7200rpm @ $79.99 from Newegg
GPU: MSI TwinFrozr HD 7950 3GB @ $312.86 from Newegg
Case: Antec Three Hundred Two Mid-Tower ATX @ $54.98 from NCIX US

MSI TwinFrozr has good build quality & cooling and overclocks well. The same is probably true of the Sapphire. Personally, I would tend to go with the MSI, if price very close, but, to be honest, that's more on the basis of being more familiar with it. Either, I'm sure would be good. Someone with more knowledge of the sapphire may be able to give more objective advice.
