I want to build new PC, Any thoughts for the components? I'm looking to invest on

  1. CPU -core i9-9900K - $679 Newegg
  2. Motherboard: MSI B360 GAMING PLUS LGA 1151 (300 Series) for motherboard - $139.00 Newegg
  3. GPU - MSI GeForce RTX 2070 DirectX 12 RTX 2070 TRI FROZR 8GB- $619 Newegg

Or maybe i'll just buy ready made from ASUS or MSI?

Any idea?

If video editing is your main task, AMD CPUs perform better while costing less. The RYZEN 9 3900X performs very close to Intel in gaming.

AMD RYZEN 9 3900X 12-core / 24-threat ($417 @ Amazon)
MSI X570-A PRO Motherboard ($229 @ Newegg)
MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK Motherboard ($180 @ Newegg)

I never tried AMD before, my main use for this build is video editing then secondary gaming.

Then the obvious choice is AMD, intel has the lead in gaming but thats it.
There's already some B550 available and they seem to be designed on par to the X570, but cheaper. I just ordered a B550 Extreme 4, love how it looks and for 180$ has plenty of features and a very decent VRM.
