[SOLVED] Gaming with i5-8600k and RTX 2060 combo ?

Hi, Will I be able to play on 1080p 60hz medium-high settings with this cpu gpu combo without stutters?

Depends a lot on the games. But generally an RTX 2060 is enough for 1080p gaming. i5-8600k on the other hand is a little older and lacks hyperthreading so some newer games may be a little FPS capped by it.

no one can guarantee you won't have stutters.
stutters occur due to a number of reasons, and even users with excellent specs sometimes encounter stutters. one can only assume you shouldn't have any stutters.

As mentioned before, you could be capped by the CPU. Not by a lot, but by a little bit.
And as I said before, stuttering shouldn't occur, but its something you can't really predict.

Either way, you should be able to get ~60FPS in those titles with said settings.

Be mindful of what settings you use with a 6gb graphics card. If you don't need to max out a particular setting, to have a good experience, then don't max it out. VRAM is precious. Slowdowns occur when the game has to access system RAM, because the VRAM buffer is full.
