My PC had a Windows temporary profile error. I took it to a technician and Windows was reinstalled plus a SSD. My old games are just not working - extreme lag and 1 does not even open.
PC is 7 years old but has worked perfectly well with the games prior to the profile error.

No its not a laptop. All in one Desktop.
SSD is 500gb. 400gb free space. I had everything wiped and just reinstalled Windows and Office because of the error we could not fix. The only other items on the PC is my game files and they are small - the biggest one takes about a gb of space. The games are ancient - really and they worked perfectly fine before the wipe - I somehow got around the compatibility issues and they all played perfectly. They even worked when I upgraded to Windows 10.
I'm not sure how much Ram I had before the wipe as I could only access certain areas of the PC.

Yes he reinstalled Windows and I just activated Office again.
It just feels that something is missing that was on previously and now its not. Prior to the errors the PC was quite full - I had only about 30gb open. The games worked perfectly even with other apps open in the background. Plus there was a ton of photos and videos on the PC.

I currently only have Microsoft Edge open on the PC and when I check the CPU the system is using 54% memory - which seems a lot for only one application being open.
