Hi everyone,

I am about to pull the trigger on a DeepCool Gammaxx 400, but not sure if it fits on my 2011-v3. I am cooling a 5930k. They list it as 2011 compatible and didn't mention 2011-3, so I'm a bit worried to put it on a 2011-v3.

Thanks for helping!!

So what would you recommend me to buy? Isn't this still better than the stock cooler (which is what I have right now).

Hi, sorry if I wasn't clear enough! english is not my native language.

The Gammaxx 400, which is included in the review I linked seems to perform very, very well and the mounting system seems to be compatible with your socket (you should still make sure you have enough clearance in your particular motherboard model and your case to accommodate this kind of air tower coolers).

And the answer is yes, even if you have the medium size intel stock cooler (which looks something like this: http://www.frostytech.com/articleimages/200706/intelC2Dstock_pspc.jpg) the Gammaxx 400 should be better!
