I am trying to attach my Coolermaster Hyper62OS cpu cooler to the cpu via an am5 bracket but its extremely wobbly (like i can completely tilt it left to right..) and clearly isnt attached correctly at all, I have tried tightening it all i can with a screwdriver and redoing it from scratch but it keeps wobbling. I realised that clearly the 2 plates where the thermal paste should be aren't touching in the slightest, and I've followed the instructions to a T so I have zero idea how to fix this. Is there possibly too much clearance caused by the mount?? possibly the chip doesn't stick out as much as standard or something??
For reference I am using the Gigabyte B650M D23H Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard and an AMD ryzen cpu. Any advice would be helpful
