Gap between taskbar and windows

Hi, I'd like to know if a gap between taskbar and windows is a VGA-related issue or a monitor-related issue. The problem is solved once I switch the monitor and switch it on again.

What could be the cause?

I think it is happening with browsers ! if so then maximize the browser window by clicking on maximize button (top right hand side), hopefully solve the problem. Or you could use your mouse to pull down the browser window to fill the gap. Good luck.

The problem is ALSO not there when the taskbar is unlocked. Could it be due to the monitor? Because it happens with all the programs, not just the browser. And if the problem occurs, simply maximising it won't do the trick.

Better try another monitor if you can to isolate the problem. How old is the monitor ? Graphics driver up to date ?

Yes the Graphics Driver is upto date.

Did you tried a second monitor ?
