Question Gap in GPU fan.

So recently a squeaking noise was coming from my PC. When I went to check, the left fan on my GPU was struggling to spin causing the squeaking noise. I took apart my GPU and took a closer look at the fans and realized that the fan that was struggling to spin had a hair in it which I took out and it had a somewhat noticeable gap between the base and the fan compared to the other one. Now even though I took the hair out it still squeaks and struggles to spin. Making the gap the problem. So my question is, is there a way to fix it or would I have to just get a new GPU?

Generally you can't fix a fan but some of the cheaper ones have a tiny amount of oil in them and that can dry out. Yours looks more like a mechanical failure of some kind.

I am not sure why you would replace the GPU. I guess it depends on how old it is. There is a huge after market of replacement fans for GPU for people that want "better?" ones or maybe want different color ones. You would have to search and see if anyone sells fans for your model of GPU.
Most GPU vendors do not make their own fans so you likely can find one that will fit.
